FORMER MEMBER OF UN COMMISSION ON BIO-WEAPONS AIRS SUSPICIONS ON CORONAVIRUS

In the following is our translation of an excerpt of an article from Ren TV with commentary and notes [in brackets] by Vince Dhimos.

Anyone suggesting publicly that the coronavirus outbreak may be an import from a foreign biolab is swatted down. Even professional researchers are in on the swatting. Most news consumers do not realize it but the scientific community is captive to the US Establishment and anyone who steps out of line gets smacked down. Remember the WMDs in Iraq? You couldn’t criticize the government’s case for it prior to the war started by the rumour. Therefore, in the case of a highly politicized issue such as the Chinese coronavirus outbreak, you will not find professional researchers or medical experts seriously discussing the possibility of a foreign source of the latest coronavirus epidemic.

Firstly, they focus on the possibility that the Chinese may have deliberately developed the virus, and most of them argue that this is not the case. They thus position themselves as not being part of the smear-China craze. Unbiased, right? But they mostly assiduously avoid the suspicion that the US may be behind it. And yet, the US Establishment and lapdog media have done everything in their power lately to demean and smear China, particularly since Trump declared the trade war. Are we not supposed to notice that this epidemic feeds right into the anti-China hysteria that the political Establishment fans with all its might? Much in the same way as it does to prepare the Western mind for a shooting war. At any rate, the experts vehemently deny a genetic modification. But pay attention to the focus because they're distracting you. They all rush to exculpate the Wuhan biolab that has been suggested by conspiracy theorists as a possible source. But they assiduously avoid mentioning the main suspect, the US government, which has been working hard to bring down the Chinese economy, and certainly nothing has ever hurt the Chinese economy more than this outbreak! Almost all of the articles regarding the possible genetic engineering possibility focus on the Wuhan biolab and never mention a foreign agent. That in itself is suspicious!

A Daily Mail article is typical.

And the main argument of the professional experts cited is simply that there is nothing in the viral cell that suggests genetic modification. Well, no, a genetic modification can be designed at will and can therefore be made to look like natural selection. So that is not a particularly convincing argument. Meanwhile, the Chinese are being careful not to publicly mention the possibility of US involvement – but the article below shows that, behind the scenes the Chinese are indeed suspicious of US skulduggery. After all, if you have no clues yet, better not say anything. Otherwise a hot-headed US politician might just slap more tariffs on Chinese goods. The following translation gives us a viewpoint you will not see in the msm.

Mutation, clandestine laboratory or provocation: where did the coronavirus come from?

The first hotbed of infection was the seafood market in Wuhan. How the coronavirus got there is not yet clear. But it was in this city that the Institute of Virology was opened exactly two years ago. The institute examined highly pathogenic microorganisms that can cause deadly Marburg or Ebola fever.

Scientists have argued before: marine life can transmit infections that are dangerous to humans. One study identified land-based rota- and enteroviruses in 24% of Black Sea mussels. Snakes and even bats are named as carriers in China – both of which are eaten by local residents.

The Chinese themselves declared a few years ago that foreigners were trying to destroy them. After Wuhan became the focus of infection, colleagues from the PRC called Igor Nikulin, a biological weapons expert, fearing the coronavirus may have been artificially introduced. [my emphasis]

“Well, we will see in the near future who it is aimed against, but judging by the fact that this happened in China, it seems that it is against China. It all looks like sabotage. First of all, this is the city of Wuhan - it’s the centre of the country, a major transportation hub, plus now it’s Chinese New Year - hundreds of millions of Chinese will travel around the country to relatives, acquaintances, and so on,” said Igor Nikulin, a military expert and former member of the UN Commission on Biological and Chemical Weapons.

One of the entities that study pathogens of deadly diseases most closely is the United States.

Dual-use biotechnologies: can be treated, can be killed.

“This can be beneficial for American corporations that are developing these kinds of new diseases just for profit. Or maybe for the Americans themselves, because America is the only country that has 400 military biological laboratories around the world, not only around Russia, but also around China, in Malaysia, in Indonesia, in the Philippines - the US military is working everywhere,” the military expert explains.

We already talked about one of them, the Lugar Centre in Tbilisi. Documents confirming the dangerous tests were published by the former Minister of State Security of Georgia.

“We see from the documents that 30 people died in one month. 24 of them die in one day. And when you look at the documents under the words “cause of death,” it says“ unknown, ”said Igor Gioradze, Minister of State Security of Georgia, 1993-95. [See second article this page. The Pentagon has claimed that the Lugar Center is publicly owned, but it is used by the US military]

From the papers it followed that in the Lugar Center they created, for example, a drone carrying mosquitoes infected with malaria. But this week it became known: American scientists are capable of more. Tufts University and the University of Vermont have created new life forms - xenobots.

The stem cells of the African Spur frog turned into programmable biorobots. They are able to move to the goal, carry tiny loads, go without food for a long time and regenerate. One of the authors of the study told us that although they were driven by purely scientific interest, such developments require strict public control.

"So far, these biorobots are too simple, but in the future they can be used for military purposes. If they have the opportunity to influence the internal systems of the body in which they find themselves," says Sam Kriegman, a graduate student at the University of Vermont.

The development of a vaccine against Chinese coronavirus, like any other, can take up to several years. And not only because there is a mandatory test and patenting procedure. Every time new types of dangerous diseases break out on the planet, a war begins behind the curtains of the global pharmaceutical business. There is a demand, that is, infected people, and there is a supply.

“You know, this is such a, let's say, difficult question, but, in my opinion, it is necessary to make a distinction here: some pharmaceutical companies are developing vaccines, others are producing medicines. The fight against vaccines, is to some extent supported by these companies that make these medicines. Well, of course, if there is a vaccine, then why would they be needed at all?” said Vitaliy Zverev, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, scientific director of the Mechnikov Research Institute of Vaccines and Serums.

Many scientists reassure us that the situation in China is far from an epidemic and especially not a pandemic. But the spread of the dangerous coronavirus infection is accelerating, Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Saturday.

It is accelerating so much that in Wuhan they began to build a new hospital with a thousand beds. The work is scheduled for completion in six days. And tomorrow, groups of tourists will be banned from all over the country. In the outgoing week, all flights from China were checked especially carefully. That's how they met planes in Khabarovsk [located in Russia’s Far East just across the border with China]. At Sheremetyevo International Airport [Moscow] – the main flow of passengers from China goes through the capital – a double control was established.

But the infection still is spreading around the world every day, with new foci and new countries involved. Just 2 days ago, six Chinese citizens with high temperatures were hospitalized from a hotel in Moscow. They said their health had worsened after they received packages from China. An examination did not reveal signs of coronavirus. But most importantly, the incubation period of the Chinese coronavirus is more than a week. The carrier may not suspect that he is ill and may infect others. However, stopping the increase in the number of cases is not the only task. It is important to understand where the infection came from and whether someone could intervene in the ongoing mutations of the virus. If so, humanity has started a deadly game – for a killer the size of a single RNA chain, no one can determine where the victim is and where the creator is.

Former Georgian minister says US held suspicious experiments at lab in Georgia

9-12-2018

US military and private contractors might have conducted secret experiments involving humans at a laboratory in Georgia, the former Georgian Security Minister, Igor Giorgadze told a news conference in Moscow on Tuesday.

“Even the first glance at a portion of documents – and my friends in Georgia have shipped hundreds and thousands of pages of documents to me – shows the biologists from the US army medicine group in Georgia and private contractors might have really conducted secret experiments on Georgian citizens at the Richard Lugar laboratory,” he said.

The laboratory has the official title of the Richard Lugar Center for Public Health Research and Russian defense experts say the fields of its activities look highly suspicious.
“A whole range of experiments involving my fellow-Georgians had lethal finales,” Giorgadze said, adding that he had a list of about 30 people, who had taken courses of treatment at the Lugar center and had died of hepatitis C later.

He said this information referred to just one month, namely, December 2015. “Most notably, the documents show 24 people of the group of 30 died on the same day,” he said.

“The data for 2016 speaks of 30 deceased in April and another thirteen, in August,” Giorgadze said. “The highly bewildering thing is the word ‘undetermined’ in the box on the cause of death. There were no investigations as regards the causes of those individuals’ deaths.”

“Unfortunately, we don’t know the surnames of those who died, as the laboratory reports feature them under the cyphers the lab assigned to them,” Giorgadze said. “What we have is the data on the dates of their births, their gender and the dates of their passing away. But still there’s an opportunity to identify their names if someone wishes to.”

He said all of this happened against the background of generally encouraging results of struggle with hepatitis C in Georgia.

The Pentagon’s efforts to place its medical/biological laboratories in different parts of world, including the areas adjoining the Russian border make up a subject of growing concern in Moscow.

Considering the US persistence in keeping up its reservation on the 1925 Geneva Protocol, which bans the use of germ weapons, questions about the true objectives of the US military-biological activity in the post-Soviet space give rise to legitimate questions.

The highly specific interpretation of provisions of the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention [BTWC] and Washington’s claims that the ban on biological weaponry does not apply to research in this sphere amplifies the apprehensions powerfully, as it admits of the sweeping medical and biological activities that clearly stand at variance with the Convention.

It's interesting to note that there are ten states that have not signed the UN's Biological Weapons Convention:

'Ten states have neither signed nor ratified the BWC (Chad, Comoros, Djibouti, Eritrea, Israel, Kiribati, Micronesia, Namibia, South Sudan and Tuvalu).'

I wonder which one could be up to some mischief... Chad? Eritrea? Namibia? Tuvalu?...

Hmmm...
