A few days ago I posted my response at the Spanish-language section of Quora to the question: Does Israel have a right to exist? Why or why not?
I did not express a personal opinion but documented that today’s Israel was land seized from its original Arab settlers by terror and murder. I have had exchanges on this subject with Israeli Quora members in the past and their reaction was always the same: denial or justification of the atrocities, often with personal attacks on myself and foul language for daring to tell a truth that has long been hidden with the complicity of the Israeli and US Establishments.
Below is another example of such an exchange with an Israeli woman who resorts to the usual arguments. My original answer had pointed out that the arguments of Israelis and Zionists almost invariably focus on statehood and on the fact that Palestine had never been a nation. However, I argued that the real underlying issue is not statehood but the atrocities committed by the original Jewish settlers, including wholesale murder to terrorize the Arabs into leaving. This can hardly be construed as “God” giving the Jews the land.
This is a shock to my opponents because no one had ever taken this tack with them, which rendered the statehood arguments irrelevant. I was talking morality, an issue no one had ever raised, not even the American so-called “Christian” Zionists who are responsible for a critical amount of the support, moral, financial, military and propaganda, received by Israel. At the end of my arguments I always point out that for me, the adversary is not Israel, the Jews or even the murderous Zionists, but these “Christian” Zionists, who blasphemously hide behind the name of Christ to support the most heinous form of evil. Thus, morality, the whole focus of the Bible, is ignored by people calling themselves “Christians” (around 80% of Evangelicals and 60% of Catholics believe God gave the Jews the land of Israel, but no one talks about the fact that 65% of Israelis are irreligious and therefore not Jews in the biblical sense.)
And I clearly demonstrate that none of this Israel worship is biblical, conflicting with both the Old and New Testament scripture referred to by these Zionists as “support.” The most absurd and blasphemous of their arguments is that God wants Christians to support the building of the Third temple in Jerusalem so that the Anti-Christ will be able to sit there as he persecutes Christians in the end times. Yes, “Christians” urging Christians to support the Anti-Christ so that the prophecies can be fulfilled! As though God were incapable of fulfilling His prophecies without the help of “Christians” whose focus is not the teachings of Christ but support for a secular country calling itself Israel.

The atrocities committed by early Israeli settlers:
Leah Zeinsteger, responding to the above eye witness accounts of atrocities.
Dear Vince ... This story is not as you show it. Behind those massacres that you mention there is much more ... How about the arms deals of the ruling Sheikhs before 1948? And the English so innocent that they did not want to lose their place in the Middle East because of the geopolitics of the area? [Actually, the British disarmed the Palestinians, leaving them helpless, while allowing the Zionists to have weapons. It was a recipe for a disaster. Vince] What happened to the Arabs who lived in the current territory of Israel? Israel wanted to come to an agreement with the heads of the Arab villages that were in the territory. Unfortunately the Arab heads of state under the infamous promises of the British forced the villages to refuse support to the inhabitants in terms of schooling, health, education to cultivate the land ... etc. [Why in heaven’s name would these Arabs trust the British or the Zionist settlers? The fact that these people later massacred the Arabs proves that the Arabs were right in rejecting their “help.” Vince] Of course the [male] Arab villagers were used to sitting drinking coffee in the corner and smoking hookah or drinking tea while the women and children worked to feed the family [So because the women and children were abused, the Zionists were entitled to slaughter them? Really? Vince]. A repeated theme. You have to read a lot on this topic. And I'm not saying that Israel did not make mistakes, of course things happened, but we are talking about human beings who were beaten, running, punished all over the planet. [Since the Jews had suffered atrocities themselves, they should have been able to identify with the persecuted Palestinians rather than unleash similar atrocities on them. Holocaust survivors Eli Wiesel and Simon Wiesenthal urged the Jews to take up the cause of persecuted non-Jewish groups and not just focus on themselves. Israel ignored this message. Vince]
When someone murders another person, there is always a motive that seems to justify the murder. Everyone already knows that. But someday the US will no longer swallow excuses and the support of the Yankees will disappear. Already the young Jews of the USA are ceasing to support Israel. They are saying: "Enough excuses." A wise people prepares for the future.
I invite you to live a season in Israel and in some kind of Arab country that is not Jordan, because the Jordanians are very peaceful people. Talk to you later. It is very easy to talk about excuses when reality is not known.
It is not about which region is better. What the Zionist terror gangs did is a crime against humanity. There is no excuse for the murder that the Stern and Irgun groups committed. The fact that the Zionists try to justify atrocities is a sign of something deeply malevolent, beyond the understanding of civilized people. Honestly, it gives me chills to read these justifications for unjustifiable crimes. All my life I have opposed the arguments in favour of the perpetrators of the Holocaust who pointed to the foibles of the Jews as an excuse for their crimes. I have always answered: There can be no excuses for the atrocities.
Do you think I was wrong?
