Famous “Christian” conservative news site editor Joseph Farah encourages the extreme Israeli abuse of the Palestinians by claiming “the Palestinian people do not exist.” Nothing like dehumanizing someone before you kill them, right Joe? The Pharisees could have elected you as their president.
Did you open the link in Part I (below) and watch the entire video? If you did, thank you very much for your bravery. Officially, and according to our “Christian” Zionism-dominated culture, Iran is evil by definition. But any American who thinks Iran is really an enemy needs to strain their brain and use their maximum out-of-the-box reasoning power to see why this is not really so, and especially to try hard to apply the lesson taught – but not learned – in the months prior to the tragic Iraqi war (and also the Kosovo war and the Ghadaffi murder) that cost America vast treasure, lives and her soul. Do you not see the analogy between the way Americans were prepared psychologically – brainwashed – to induce them to support these immoral and costly wars, and the way America is once again being prepared to support a war with Iran? In other words, are you blind?
Since Trump's election, all of the parties to the JCPOA (Iran deal) except the blindly pro-Israel US have declared, based on inspections, that Iran has not violated any of the provisions of the agreement. It seems increasingly unlikely that the US will be able to change that consensus. Vast amounts of euros have been invested in Iran by Europeans, and other countries, eg, besides Russia and China, once-staunch US allies like South Korea, Japan, India and NATO member Turkey, have also signed valuable contracts with the country. For instance, Italy and Iran just recently signed a 5 billion euro credit agreement. And, as if to rub salt in Trump’s wounds, EU foreign affairs chief Federica Mogherini keeps reminding that Iran is complying with the Iran deal. (Back when US lawmakers applied sanctions to Russia aimed at destroying its gas business, the EU Commission noticed that this was all about forcing Europe to buy overpriced US LNG, and they started fighting back in earnest. They realize that the anti-Iran propaganda is also aimed at weakening Europe economically to the US' benefit. You can only take a prank so far).
Iran is not forbidden from developing and fielding missiles and it needs strong defences. It had its nuclear power plants destroyed by Israel in 1981 based solely on absolutely unfounded suspicions of developing a bomb (the strike garnered a rebuke from the UN and even from the US). It has had four of its nuclear engineers murdered, apparently by Mossad agents. It is under constant threat from both Israel and Saudi Arabia. From the standpoint of the Iranian people, demanding it give up its defence systems is to demand it relinquish its duty to protect its people.
US officialdom insists that Iran is dangerous, but the fact is, the country has spent about 10 years negotiating with several concerned countries, persuading them of its sincerity in order to rid itself of crippling sanctions, until finally in 2015 it was cleared. Now common sense tells us that after all that pain to obtain the right to trade fairly with the world, and after enjoying a boom in trade deals with Europe, South Korea and other nations following the lifting of sanctions, the last thing Iran will want to do is act in ways that would bring these sanctions raining down on itself again. Iran knows that if it dropped a nuke on Israel, it would be a world pariah instantly and would essentially starve. Iranians are looking forward to a prosperity that was denied them for many years. Rouhani must restore a decent life to his people to survive politically.
Further, the Khamenei has declared that the use of nuclear weapons is against Islam. Now we know what taggiya is, ie, the sanctioning of Muslims lying to kefir (unbelievers). However, the law of taqqiya applies only to lying to unbelievers, not lying to Muslims. If the Khamenei said to his countrymen that nuclear arms are contrary to Islam, then that is what he meant. Now that their spiritual leader has said this, religious Iranians certainly do not believe in the use of nuclear weapons. To sully Islam would be death to the Iranian government. Won’t happen.
The latest package of hype and lies is that the protests in Iran are a grassroots denunciation of the government and against the involvement of the Iranian armed forces (official army, or Artesh, and Islamic Guard Corps) in the fight against ISIS in Syria and Iraq. However, in fact, the attendance at pro-government rallies was significantly higher than that at the earlier protests, which have simmered down. Iranians are sincerely horrified at the land grabbing and child abuse perpetrated by the Israelis. So was there foreign involvement in the violent protests as claimed by Teheran? Aside from reports from Iran that many of the violent protesters were foreigners, here is a clue: according to Israel’s Channel 10, a leaked document shows that Israel and the US had recently plotted covert actions against Iran. As mentioned above, Israel’s Mossad covertly murdered 4 Iranian nuclear scientists inside Iran a few years back, and we all know about the CIA’s covert support for colour revolutions all over the globe. Since Iran is 90-95% Shiite and the government is Shiite, it would be virtually impossible to induce Iranians to overthrow their government. So Trump’s dream of a grassroots uprising to overthrow Rouhani is just that, a dream. The much maligned police crackdown was not different from the crackdown in Ferguson, but the US elites are hypocrites.
It is all about Israel, and the US government would gladly sacrifice your son’s life so that Tel Aviv could grab the rest of the Middle East, pretending it is for the good of the world. And a chilling number of Americans would think they were doing God’s will.
Look, if you are a Christian, don’t call yourself a Zionist and don’t think for one minute that God endorses the criminals in Tel Aviv who have just recently shot a youngster in the face and have arrested his activist sister, admitting to their neighbours that they merely want to drive all the Palestinians out of Palestine so they can seize their homes (it’s in the above-linked video). If you have been a “Christian” Zionist, then ask yourself: Do I want to be a follower of Jesus or of Tel Aviv? You can’t be both. (See the resource list below for the Biblical reasons why Zionism is not Christian).
If you choose to follow Christ and give up your wild fantasies about Tel Aviv’s Chosen People, whose DNA and religion don’t match up with Father Abraham’s, then here is what Jesus would have you do:
Tell your Jewish friends that Jesus was actually a practicing Jew and that His aim was not to start a new religion, not at all. He made that clear when he said:
I have come not to abolish the (Jewish) law but to fulfil the law.
His issue with the Pharisees was that they were only following the letter of the law but not the spirit thereof and were using the law chiefly as a weapon against the people they wished to dominate. Their focus was power.
